Spring handbag - Dareen Hakim - 2016

In March 2016, I ordered a handbag from an internet shopping site. It is a Dareen Hakim handbag tote and the name of the style is Le Grand Icon. The colors are taupe, navy, and aubergine.

Illustrator Ottilia Adelborg - Blomsteralfabet

I learned of an illustrator today named Ottilia Adelborg from Sweden. I found her book on the internet on a Pinterest page. The book is called "Prinsarnes Blomsteralfabet", and it was published in Stockholm in 1892. Here are pictures from the internet. First is the cover of the book. After that is a collage I made of letters in the book that spell out my name.

I found an artist on the internet who uses fun bright colors. His motif is similar in all his paintings, but even so, I like the playful color combinations.

Map of New York City in 1674

I like old maps. Here is a map of New York City from 1674. This area of New York city is at the bottom tip of Manhattan Island. The first two are the same map in slightly different quality versions. The third one is a modern illustration the shows another perspective, from the year 1664.
